New Courthouse in Winter Park Now Open with Self Help Services
Our Winter Park branch has relocated to serve you better, we are now open at the new Orange County Courthouse in Winter Park at 4037 Metric Drive, Winter Park.
The new courthouse offers Self Help services with affordable attorney consultations with a room designed for the legal consultations. At this branch, you can also apply for marriage licenses and ceremonies, passport processing, and make payments.
On February 4, 2025 Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings, Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell, and Chief Judge Lisa T. Munyon participated in the ribbon cutting for the new Courthouse branch in Winter Park. This new location marks a significant milestone as it will provide a larger, state-of-the-art facility to serve the community better.
Located just off University Boulevard near Goldenrod Road, the new Orange County Courthouse at Winter Park is three times the size of the current courthouse branch and is the result of an $18.9 million investment by Orange County Government. The expanded space will house two courtrooms, a larger wedding ceremony room, and a larger waiting area to ensure a more comfortable experience for all visitors.
"This courthouse represents the continued investment in our community's future," said Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings. "The $18.9 million investment in this state-of-the-art facility will ensure that residents in Winter Park and surrounding areas have improved access to courts, legal resources, and services for years to come."
"We are thrilled to introduce the new Courthouse in Winter Park to the community," said Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell. "This new facility reflects our ongoing commitment to provide better access to justice and exceptional service to our residents."
"This is an important step for the Orange County judicial system," said Ninth Judicial Circuit Court Chief Judge Lisa Munyon. "We will be able to take advantage of the high-tech courtroom design, which will allow court hearings to be held in-person and remotely. This will help cases to be heard and resolved quickly and efficiently."
