This Halloween Celebrate with a “HalloWedding” Ceremony!
Come say I do to your Boo this Halloween as the Orange County Clerk of Courts conducts “HalloWedding” themed wedding ceremonies on Friday, October 31, 2025.
The ceremony rooms at the Orange County Courthouses in downtown Orlando and in Winter Park will be decorated for the fall season for couples wishing to tie the knot on Halloween from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Couples their guests are encouraged to wear costumes for the festive occasion. Costumes must adhere to courthouse security regulations with masks or face painting applied after passing through security and no costume accessories that are considered weapons are allowed, including plastic items such as plastic swords or handcuffs. Additionally, costumes must be publicly appropriate and cannot be revealing or otherwise sexually explicit.
“This event is all about bringing our community together in a creative and festive way,” said Orange County Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell. “Couples can celebrate their love while adding their own personal touch to a day that will be remembered for years to come.”
Appointments and walk-ins are available. Appointment availability is limited, so couples who are interested are encouraged to register early to reserve their appointment. The marriage license and the ceremony require separate fees. For Florida residents, there are also a few requirements that may require a 3-day waiting period to be married. Visit the marriage section of our website for more details on the requirements and fees.
Couples should take note that marriage licenses are only valid for a 60-day period. Therefore, they must ensure that their marriage licenses are still effective on the day of the ceremony for their marriage to be valid.
For those looking for a more traditional ceremony, options will be available at all of our locations including the Apopka and Ocoee branches on Halloween or any other date we are open for business.
