Marriage Services Appointment
Marriage licenses are issued the same day as requested as long as all requirements are met. However, there is a 3-day waiting period to be married for couples who live in Florida, but do not provide proof that they have completed a premarital preparation course.
Florida couples wishing to avoid the 3-day waiting period must produce a certificate or printed letter from a premarital course provider indicating they have completed the course.
- Please read the Family Law Handbook and sign a statement acknowledging that they have done so before applying for the license.
- Both parties must produce a valid (non-expired) Government issued photo ID. Failure to produce ID means we will not be able to complete your marriage service.
- An eMarriage application must be filled out prior to your appointment by clicking here
- The 3-day waiting period does not start until you come into the office obtain the license.
We currently do not accept same-day appointments, but walk-Ins are always welcome to apply for your marriage license!
