ADA Coordinator Assists with Court-Related Accessibility Requests for People with Disabilities
The Orange County Clerk of the Court is committed to ensuring that persons with disabilities receive full and equal access to the judicial system in Orange County.
- If you have a disability and would like to request court documents be made available in a specific format, email the Clerk of Court's ADA Coordinator or call (407) 836-2215. In addition, our ADA Coordinator is available to assist all persons with disabilities who need accommodations when interacting with the Clerk of the Court, or who need modifications to the Clerk of Court’s policies, practices, and procedures due to a disability.
- If you have a disability, and the format of any material on our web pages interferes with your ability to access the information, please email the Clerk of Court's ADA Coordinator or call (407) 836-2215. To enable us to respond in a manner most helpful to you, please indicate the nature of the accessibility problem, the web address of the requested material, your preferred format in which you want to receive the material (electronic format (ASCII, etc.), standard print, large print, etc.), and your contact information.
- If you wish to file a complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or a complaint about the inaccessibility of court documents or the Clerk of Court's website, email the Clerk of Court's ADA Coordinator or call (407) 836-2215.
- If you need special assistance due to a disability to participate in a court proceeding, please contact the Ninth Circuit Court Administration ADA Coordinator at the address or phone number below at least 7 days before your scheduled court appearance or immediately upon receiving an official notification if the time before the scheduled appearance is less than 7 days.
