Avoid Tax Season Lines

Waiting in line during tax season.

Every year through April, our Traffic Division lobby fills with customers who are using their tax refunds to pay off their balances. While we do our best to keep the lines moving, you might experience a wait during this time.

Did you know you can avoid our busy Traffic lobby by conducting business remotely? Take a look at a few of the ways to avoid the crowds this tax season.

Pay Online
You can pay your traffic ticket online 24/7 from any location with internet access. You can even opt for traffic school or request an extension. Visit my eClerk to get started.

When paying your ticket online, please note it can take several days for our office to receive the ticket from the issuing law enforcement agency.

Visit any Amscot location around the state to make your payment. The location does not have to be in Orange County.

Western Union
Like Amscot, you can make a payment at any Western Union location. Just remember to use the following information:

  • Pay to: Orange County Clerk of Courts
  • Code City: OCClerk
  • State: FL
  • Account: Citation or case #
  • Attention Line: First/last name

Mailing your traffic payment is still a good way to avoid the tax season crowds. Send payment to:
