Appointments Now Available for Passports, Marriage Licenses and Ceremonies

The Orange County Clerk of Courts has a brand new feature to make it easier for customers to get a new passport, marriage license, and plan a wedding ceremony. Our website now allows customers to schedule appointments online from the convenience of a computer, smart phone, or tablet for these services.

“This new website feature allows people to save time, plan ahead, and make arrangements for their day more easily," said Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell. “It's already very popular, far above our expectations."

Customers can make appointments one or more days in advance for a new passport, marriage license, and ceremony. While same day appointments are not allowed, walk-ins are still always welcome for same day service. The appointments are an added benefit to the existing walk-in service.

For passports, two separate forms of payment are required. One of them must be a check or money order for the U.S. Department of State fees. All other fees are payable by debit/credit card or cash. All Passport Applications and supporting forms must be filled out in black ink only.

For more details on these services and requirements, visit our Passports or Marriages sections.
