Clerk's Office Hosts Public Records Forum

When it comes to court records, have you ever wondered how much of your information is public? Join Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell for a discussion on confidentiality and access to court records.   

This free legal forum is entitled Public Records: What’s Confidential and What’s Not and will take place on Thursday, March 9, at 6:00 p.m., at the Orange County Courthouse. The discussion will focus on court records, as well as other public records maintained by the Clerk’s Office. The goal is to help educate the public on what information is confidential and what information is not. 

During the discussion, Clerk Russell and members of her staff will review:

  • Confidentiality laws around court records
  • The Clerk's role in making court information available to the public
  • How to search court records using the my eClerk website
  • How to request certified copies of court records like marriage licenses and final judgments

Legal Matters is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited, so register today.
