Orange County Clerk of Courts Lydia Gardner Passes Away

Orange County Clerk of Courts Lydia Gardner passed away Thursday morning, May 9, after a battle with cancer. She was in her fourth term, having served as Clerk since 2001.

Lydia Gardner led tremendous change in the Clerk’s Office from the time she was elected in 2000. With an emphasis on providing exemplary customer service, she focused on technology upgrades that would enhance electronic services, pioneered online traffic ticket payments and provided easier access to information through myorangeclerk.com.
